It’s official. Joshua Cheptegei is going to target Kenenisa Bekele’s world 10,000m record on October 7th in Valencia, Spain. Then after Valencia Cheptegei, the new 5,000m world record holder, will make his half marathon debut at the World Half Marathon Champs.
