It’s time to get excited for USA nationals which start Thursday in Sacramento.

We couldn’t think of anything better to get the blood flowing with some of the America’s top runners than to have some of them read mean posts about them from the LetsRun.com message boards.

So with a hat tip to Jimmy Kimmel’s Celebrities Reading Mean Tweets, we present to you, “Pro Runners Reading Mean LetsRun.com Posts Edition #1”. Thanks to Robby Andrews (adidas, twitter, IG), Kyle Merber (HOKA One One/NJNYTC, twitter, instagram) and Craig Lutz (HOKA One One/NAZ Elite, twitter, IG) for their humor.

Some highlights:

On Andrews: “He’s a slacker version of Webb”
“(It’s) hard to find much enthusiasm for the guy.” Andrews response: “Sounds a lot like my ex-girlfriend.”

On Merber: “I enjoy Merber’s tweets. He understands he is a tiny, white, adult male, barely above the poverty like, that sometimes sleeps at his parents house. Which makes his stuff entertaining.”

On Lutz: “Lutz is not the top college freshman. In fact, the top college freshman could probably run circles around Lutz during a race, suffer an attack of irritable bowel syndrome, go to the bathroom, and STILL finish ahead of him.”
