Rothstein, who set a PR at the NYC Half (70:53) and was 3rd place at the US 15k champs leading into this race, was upbeat about her prospects for Monday:

“(My training cycle) has been good. That’s a little scary. Sometimes I feel when everything is going together you’re like (thinking), ‘The only thing I can do is mess this up right now.'”

“I feel like things are kind of right where they want to be and we’ll see where ‘Lady Marathon Luck’ is on Monday.”
