Our written weekly recap

The incredible form of Nico Young continued at The TEN but he was far from the most improved runner at the meet -- that honor goes to Australia's Lauren Ryan.

Young was sensational and DESTROYED the collegiate record but Alicia Monson's AR attempt went south really quickly and she dropped out.  Tsigie Gebreselama fan the first sub-30:00 women's 10,000 on US soil, Weini Kelati and Britain's version of Parker Valby, Megan Keith, both got the standard.

Karoline Grøvdal and Abel Kipchumba got the $20,000 wins as Kenenisa Bekele and Clayton Young struggled but have their eyes on bigger prizes down the road.

This is far from a surprise as Oumaiz often trained alone and in Ifrane, Morocco, which is notorious for its PED usage. His coach even found it to be suspicious. After Oumaiz won the Spanish champs, he lashed out at many Spaniards who questioned his legitimacy. Now both Spanish 5000 Worlds finalists are sitting on drug suspensions and his coach has told him to admit it.
