I don’t understand why she is working as a nutrition coach (now that she’s no longer with a training group) when her academic background is in civil engineering. If being a full-time engineer isn’t her gig, she could still make use of her degree with a part-time job working as a surveyor/field engineer.

Yeah, but engineering school is time consuming (I guess maybe it depends on where you went to school too) so it would have made more sense for her to switch to nutritional science as a college degree if that’s what she was going to focus on right after school. I personally would rather seek advice from someone with an academic background in nutrition if I was paying someone for guidance. I work as a civil/environmental engineer and I literally know nothing other than basic nutritional guidelines (which I guess if I was more passionate about it I would do my research). But that’s just my food for thought, I’m just a random person on Let’s Run.

I mean she was doing engineer work as well and I would bet might continue to do some of that. Yes maybe it seems odd but she made a choice for what she thinks best will work for her in both running and life.
