Great point; EPO/blood doping is generally used in conjunction with low doses of androgens and/or HGH. It's been the cocktail of choice for distance runners for decades.
Probably just goes to show how many more are taking EPO and getting away with it. There's no way those caught taking steroids wouldn't also be taking EPO.
Also, the article states that Bett was banned for "refusing to submit samples for testing," though I thought he was banned for testing positive for EPO?
