Prediction Addicition
Noah Lyles Will Run in the Vicinity of 9.77 Tomorrow
Call it a basic 9.82 with expectations for wind and good track conditions. Weather and race execution will be factors. But, all things being equal, a 9.77 is one of the higher likelihood results (considering standard tailwinds, etc.) that Lyles will end up with.

He gets a really strong tail wind? We can start talking mid to low 9.7s. He gets a "good" start (for him), and a +2, and we can go so far as discussing an absurd 9.74/9.72 possibility. Either way, even his own version of a mediocre start and modest tailwind conditions will likely give him his first sub 9.8. And it will all be with Gatlin behind him, because he's not going to be able to match it. He'll be having flash backs racing Bolt in the final 40 meters.

It's going to be fairly big news. And I'm calling it.

And afterwards, Lyles will also probably have to go for the 100/200 double in Doha as a result of it all.
