Of course there are a million ways to skin a cat, but FWIW I’s say that what you described is a pretty good “working man’s” 5k schedule. If you don’t have the time to drive to and from the track and are just trying to get as fit as possible using the least amount of time, what you suggest is pretty spot on. Just tempo, fartlek, and hills.
