(1) it is evidence that Meza was running much slower than those he is photographed near and/or has similar splits to (just like at Pasedena earlier this year);
(2) Black Headband Guy may be the most likely to have seen Meza along the course. I would guess that he blew by Meza on several occasions: right after 15k; somewhere between the Chinese Theater (11.5 miles) and 20k; and then again at 25k (I think they are photographed along with a wheelchair racer at the 25K timing mat.) This presumes that Meza was running much slower than BHG at all points on the course even though BHG had a late fade and crossed the finish line after Meza and his chip.
