Why is it sad? Those "D1 Studs" have been flying all season in time trial type races. I can't be the only one here who enjoys championship races more than seeing a quick time? The tactics are infinitely more fascinating, the races are usually more exciting and it opens things up a little more for upsets which everyone loves in sports
