I'm mostly just bitter because I was shorting John Deere. Turns out that literally everyone else on Wall Street was too so I have to anxiously wait while everyone unwinds until my strike price number gets called. Added to that is the fact I have it in 11/23 puts.

Lowered guidance.

I was a professional short seller from the years 2001 to 2007, when I quit out of disgust. Right before the market fell 50%. Ack.
Shorting is absurdly hard - the timing is the problem. You can be dead on right, but the way shorting have to get the timing dead on too.
