I ran for her at Sac State. I didn't do particularly well, but I attribute that to other factors. Some guys improved quite a bit, others not so much. Same goes for the women.
She was only there for one year but overall I really liked her coaching style.
I think her coaching ability really showed when she went to Sierra College. She basically started the team from scratch and made them locally competitive within their first year, and even better the next. And no offense to the athletes, but she got basically next to nothing talent wise and made them a solid team.
