My post is a few posts up. I beat it.

There are a couple problems with the discussion of this injury. 1 is that sports hernia is nothing like an inguinal hernia. My sports hernia was diffuse. i.e., in my adductors, lower abs, and sartorius. 2 is that lots of high speed athletes like hockey players are probably straining muscles in ways that are different from distance runners. They might also be getting a true inguinal hernia.

Find a trainer who will give you a hard work in your glutes and abs. That Bulgarian squat looks good, but I don't recall doing it. Just keep your foot farther out to focus the work on the glutes, not the quads.
