RE: 2018 College Track & Field Open Coaching Positions Discussion

This is just not true, none of you know KD. I ran for him at LSU and I developed under his system. I walked on at 2:19 for 800, and graduated with a 2:02 Pr. He isn’t going to hold your hand he expects a lot out of his athletes, most complain because they’re soft and want someone to hold their hand or give them extra attention. If you match his level of commitment he will give you his all, but he expects you to be highly motivated and work hard. A lot of the runners at LSU were walk on material but most of them didn’t have the drive to he a good runner they had other more important obligations. So if he knew that about you he would simply overlook you because he felt it would be a waste of his time. He’s an amazing coach he just doesn’t have patience to babysit any runners

Thanks for the reply, Morgan. What 800 time did you run your freshman redshirt year, just out of curiosity. That would be case you had forgotten.
Kudos on defending KD, btw.
