RE: Cross-Canada record attempt, 7200K - 66 days. Current record by Al Howie 72 days
This thread has changed dramatically since I asked the opening line to that joke just a few days ago. There was nothing trollish about my intent. At the time, it seemed there would be a handful of us charting Dave's progress across the country. I grew up a runner in Ontario, went to university and competed in BC, had a beer with Al once after the Haney to Harrison Hot Springs relay (which he ran as an individual), and now live in the states. I was keen to follow this thread. Now I'm not so sure.

As to the answer, a jogger from Duncan is a Cowichan sweater, of course. It's an old joke I learned when I moved to Victoria in the early '80s. It has nothing to do with Al Howie.

And that troll quiz about what you call a jogger from Duncan?
