Poster "Zzzzzz"...Are you Andrew Skurka?
No. I do know of him though.
I know from decades of experience always going out in the weather. I'm the guy that goes running in the pouring rain, having an entire park to myself that might otherwise have hundreds of runners in it on a sunny day (thinking of parks like Rancho San Antonio, when I lived in CA, best visited in the rain if you like a secluded experience). I have lived in Alaska since 1999. I'm also a cross country skier, cyclist, and former climber, backpacker, etc in all weather, as well as a scientist with an engineering degree and like to think about gear. I've been kind of perplexed by how stupidly runners dress in the cold ever since the 2003 NCAA cross country championships. https://www.letsrun.com/2003/stanfordncaa.php
