if KK doesnt fade while drinking only water, the former 10k WR holder has to drink some carbstuff to avoid crashin at the same pace?
I dont think that your body can really absorb the carbs that quickly, i think Haile was missing some electrolytes and got cramps because of that, if you have good mineral-stores in the body before the race i think the best thing is to drink only water as your body doesnt need any energy to absorb something.
