Why are many American pro-runners congratulating Shalane today, but none did so to Hasay last month?
Not because she’s running well now, but because of how gracious she is to congratulate her fellow Americans runners when they do well and handle the scrutiny of them doubting her judgement. This is why I have become a big fan of hers and I genuinely hope she continues to have success! I will continue to root for hasay![/quote]

I take such an issue with this post above. Jordan made a choice to train with them, and continued to stay with them even in light of the allegations against them which have continued to mount. "handle the scrutiny of them doubting her judgement" makes it seem like people who knowingly work with coaches who have been investigated are somehow innocent victims to the big mean running community in all of this. Again, Jordan may well be doing everything clean and I sincerely hope that she is. I don't want to disrespect her. However, we should not offer her any additional credit or some sort of protective shield against suspicions either.
