Well not really, I think it more so let’s you know where the coaches head is at. It would seem like he didn’t want someone with coaching experience but for what reason who knows. Maybe so he can mold them into what he wants them to be, and also so the incumbent doesn’t come in with their own philosophies and strategies of coaching. If it works for him that’s great, but it’s definitely not replacing the conventional way.

Oh when someone puts on their bio that they finished in the top 5% at a major marathon, you know they’re reaching to justify themselves for the job with no experience.
