I completely agree. If Rupp goes 2:04 at Chicago, no matter where he finishes, I'll admit how wrong I've been. Hell, I was impressed at how he hung on in the Olympics, that was baller. A fade, yes, but baller.
If he goes 2:05 and is IN it, same deal. I'd think a 26m 10K medalist who also won a bronze in the marathon should be able to do that, just like you do.
Sure, he's had an amazing career. But if dude is a road guy now, he needs to do something here. Go under 28 in a road 10K, do a 60m half, get in the mix in Falmouth. Hell, run a marathon that's faster than guys ran in the 60s.
