Why Would texas have 3 coaches leading Sprints, Relays and Hurdles? It's not like the have way too many sprinters/hurdlers.
Not many would bat an eyelash at a program with 3 coaches for mid-distance and distance, so why worry about Texas placing their resources into coaches for sprints, relays, and hurdles?[/quote]
Good point. Some teams have 4 distance coaches. Sprints and hurdles requires a lot more time coaching on the track and weight room rather than sending your athletes on runs.
Also Mario and Ty have coached every field event in the past.
