No, I am not saying don't 'get certified'. What I AM saying, is that practical experience is most often a better 'certification' than a weekend of taking notes. Sure, that plays into the 'experience', but an increasing phenomenon is overly certified coaches that live on their note-taking, and have diminished ability to think critically for themselves.

As for going to school, what is the context? A week/weekend... or years? Big difference.
