RE: Women runs 520 miles on treadmill in 7 days but doesn't get WR as Guinness says her witness doesn't count
From the 12 hour live stream videos, her total average speeds for both asymptote to about 3.45 mph, which I believe is what we would get if we actually get all the live stream videos instead of the 3.61 mph average speed found that included the short videos (and +2% benefit) that would not have shown the same amount of rest as the long videos. If you look at the spreadsheets, you can see that she alternates between running and walking speeds interspersed with periods of rest too get fixed up.
If I can verify that Amy Hughes did not engage in other cheating activities in the missing live stream videos, then I agree with you that her run can be considered impressive even if she didn't break the world record. It's a shame that she and Dave Keighley had to make it such a fuss and play sleight of hand with information.[/quote]
3.5 miles/h is a very low number for the first 12 hours of a 7 day race. She should have run 5-6 miles/h easily for the first half day, if she would be as good as claimed.
But the fact is of course that she is not that good of a runner not even close. In her 53 marathon thing she wasn't even able to get that done according to some witnesses. And there are not even Strava files for that.
