Rock Light does a very good job with the technical aspects of coaching. Those results are evident in the results from athletes he has coached. However, he does not have a very good record as far as ethical decisions go. There are stories on this board from when he illegally coached a pole vault recruit at a championship event prior to enrollment. Also, the verbal tirades towards athletes and coaches of other teams, regardless of if it was initiated by him or not, were far from professional. That is what ultimately led to his demise at Adams. He was warned by his AD and the RMAC comissioner on more than one occassion, removed from the championships and suspended. It's pretty hard to keep your job for very long with that line of things. Again, he is a great technical coach, maybe starting a professional group or organization might be a good route for him.

It was very disappointing to many of us that the Administration did not keep Coach Light, who was (is) an excellent Coach. But considering the restrictions you mentioned, getting a young hungry and up and coming Coach like Dustin is as good a result as Adams State could hope for, especially given the salary limitations. Hoping Rock gets a swift landing at another good program.
