Anyone else here in the food industry?
As someone who is, I can say that I've been forced through my career to be familiar with norovirus and the procedures that follow.
I am not the least bit surprised. This is exactly the way it's treated in every restaurant I'm familiar with, and with every health regulator. That said, I understand the outrage as oftentimes health regulations are the broad sweeping brooms of un-dynamic ignorance- all in the name of a sure-thing protection.
There's no need to call this a conspiracy. But, yes, it is dumb.
