It's a track assistant position, no distance responsibilities. Pretty much the same position they posted last year, will be a female hire. Frazier is going nowhere.
That said, Wayne Angel is a POS and a complete tool. His coaching philosophy is to spend a boatload on internationals that he doesn't even thoroughly check out, and then hope they're decent. That's why his first year at TTU he had four Kenyans running 2730 and up for 8k.
TTU itself isn't a bad campus, but it's not an area I'd want to live in. This position won't pay more than about 28K-30K, and it'll go to an entry level female.
The position posted last year was looking for a female to coach long distance 1500 and up. They wanted someone who can recruit some more local talent for cross country. They interviewed a bunch of people last summer, but never hired anyone, so I'm not sure if this is the exact same position or if they changed it up a bit.
