I ran 2:38 for the 1k this past weekend. I went 28, 58, 1:30, 2:05 and then 2:38.
What should I be splitting and what can I run with even splits. Solo effort by the way.

Why do you care if your splits are even? If it matters to you which it shouldn't take your goal time and divide it by the number of splits you want to measure. Ta da...you have your even splits to achieve your goal.
Running even splits has no bearing on your final time it just means you have an excellent ability to run the same pace.
It isn't rocket science people!!
