But that was the correct answer. If you're not a pro, it's a hobby. If you're looking for a softer definition, it's exactly what OvO said. You can have a 22:00 runner that trains seriously and cares about improving. They're a runner. It's not at all about speed once you get in to the fake definition.[/quote]

Amateur Olympians are Hobbyjoggers. 21 minute 5k runners who earn $$ by winning their age group are Runners. Got it. Idiot.
