I run it every year so I've never actually watched, but I'm told by friends that the coverage is notoriously bad. It's like they dig out the old cameras for this race, it's not even HD and the commentators are the local news anchors who drew the short stick to work Thanksgiving morning, so don't expect great commentary...perhaps Lori Riley will be live tweeting from the media truck out front, but she might run also, not sure. @lrileysports on the Twitter
Looks like you're right, per the News section of the MRR website:
The annual Turkey Day road race will also be televised on Fox 61 TV. The station will air race day reports from Manchester on its morning news program between 7-9 a.m. The race will be televised live on Fox 61 TV on Thanksgiving morning from 9-11 a.m. News anchors Erika Arias and Tim Lammers will broadcast the race for Fox 61.
Still, better than nothing. Is there a separate elite start time, or do they go off at 10:00am EST with everyone else?
