The 3000m record is/was arguably the strongest of the Chinese records. Can anyone touch it?

I don't think the top athletes today are quite there just yet: Ayana could probably dip under 8:10 (I'd put her 10k race about on par with the 3k WR, but I agree that Ayana seems better at longer distances so she would probably come up a little short), and Genzebe Dibaba would probably be right around 8:10-8:15 ... which would also fall in line with what Yunxia Qu did, as she was only 0.4 seconds slower in the 1500m and ran a 8:12.18 in Wang's WR race.
