Keep an eye on the wiki page guys. Someone keeps trying to delete the good bits.

I just hate to see that " Trans-American Footrace Winner" thing without the context that there were 7 participants and the average age was almost 50.
Is there a published source you can cite and edit it?
It started with 16 runners, but only 7 were running from Texas to the finish.
I think only one of them intended to go all the way (Patrick Sweenie sp?). The rest just jumped in for short stretches.
I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like the "core" group were intending to do the whole thing, or at least as far as they could. There were other individuals that joined in later in various places for a stage or two, but they were never listed as "core" group members who had run from the start. There were 16 core at the start, but only 7 left by Texas.
Well, I don't know for sure either. This page lists 10 core members:
Interesting exaggeration in RY's description on the rausa crew page: "Rob ran his very first 26.2 miler on 14th April 2014, and again every day thereafter, until more than quadrupling the World Record for consecutive daily marathons!"

He had to take 3 weeks off in November 2014 due to an ankle injury. He had an MRI and there are pictures of him in a boot on his personal facebook page.
