I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like the "core" group were intending to do the whole thing, or at least as far as they could. There were other individuals that joined in later in various places for a stage or two, but they were never listed as "core" group members who had run from the start. There were 16 core at the start, but only 7 left by Texas.[/quote]
