Boots were on the ground. He's legitimately injured and definitely suffering now and at least for a couple of days. Bloke is clearly a tough guy. But he forgot that he's only been moving slow for about 10 days, not 20, and claimed 2+ weeks when he should have said 1+ week to explain why he slowed down.
2+weeks means he ran several 20mile stretches at 6:30/mi pace on a broken toe through rural Kansas. Oh right, Kansas ;)
