I don't agree that the crew "has been very open". Release the watch files.
Quick summary on the watch files...
TomTom users with experience can correct me if I'm wrong, but the TomTom files are synced or uploaded to the TomTom website. I think it's called "MySports." From there you can export the files as .tcx, .kml, .gpx, and .fit (https://www.tomtom.com/en_us/mytomtom/mysports/). You can also publish them to strava using TomTom GPS Watch to MySports Connect (https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216918027-Automatically-uploading-to-Strava-from-your-TomTom-device).
As far as what he HAS shared, there are a number of screenshots from Firefox open to his MySports profile. Each entry has the start time, the miles run, the pace, and a small thumbnail map of the route. We have been able to link up most of the thumbnails to his route and cross-reference those with the GPS tracker (which seems to almost always been in the RV).
There are many inconsistencies, but a few here have focused on the May 18 day in which the RV got stuck in the sand. I'm not sure if you saw these graphics that summarize some of what we know about that day:(http://imgur.com/zjXpAoP) and this one (http://i.imgur.com/HdyOwyd.jpg). They need some more updates because we have deduced more since those were made.
At this point, even a screenshot of that thumbnail for the 21.97 segment entering Laughlin would be helpful. You can doctor gpx files and upload them to the TomTom MySports website, but it would still be helpful to see what route is claimed because the timeline supports either 1) 22 miles straight across the Mohave wilderness unsupported in 80 degree temps under full sun, 2) 14 miles along the Hwy are "missing", or 3) There's a third segment for 14 miles which were run in less than an hour. Even if they doctor the data, it would be good to make official what their claim is. I also recognize they can (and should) read this before making their official claim but wth, here we are on an anonymous message board :-)
Note that he wasn't too knackered when he got to Laughlin not to play roulette and sit by the pool...
