He did? He explained how his 10k PR pace is faster than his 5k PR? He ran a fourth of a marathon at a 2:10 marathon pace (under 5 minutes per mile)? What Kenyans was he running with?
His site says "10km 30:47 – 33:52 during a Marathon (london marathon first 10km 36:31)"
If the 30:47 and the 33:52 were both during a marathon, why list the 33:52? Can you show on the site where he clarified this? It's confusing.
Rob can run side by side with Kenyans a quarter of the marathon distance. Sure. Totally believable. LMFAO
1. The 30:47 10k is supposed to represent an unrecorded short run that just happens to be a PR at the distance;
2. The 33:52 10k was during one of his "marathons" (those long training where he raced no one, but were meant solely for the purpose of the "world record" marathon streak). Maybe he picked it up in front of some of his easily impressionable 10mm friends and said "hey guys, this is what a 5:30 pace looks like!" and they all ate it up; and
3.The 36:31 10k is the only one that is officially recorded (as a split of London, where all those other runners probably slowed him down a lot).
