Do you have contact with Jos Hermens or any Ethiopians in your camp?
Are there distinctive differences in the training of the Ethiopians vs. that of the Kenyans?
Also, have you read Haile Gebrselassie's book and what do you think of the possibility of his sessions (4 x 1200 in 2:55, 4 x 800 1:58-1:59, 4 x 400 55/ before WR in Doha, 2 x 5K in 13:20 and sub-13:20)
I recall you saying that you do not believe in "training for an event" but regardless, do you have any example programs of training for a miler/1500m runner both in the basic period (that I prepare right now, before outdoor track in the spring) and the main racing season?
Surely there are some types of training milers use tht 800 runners or 5000 runner do not, and probably the basic period is slightly different.
