I think that, overall, the prevailing idea is that Komen's training was extremely intense, and that Renato commented earlier that this was partially responsible for his short, yet brilliant time at the top. Komen had roughly a three year window when he was virtually untouchable, but then that was it. From what I've read, although there are certainly the necessary ball busters, Geb's training is relatively low intensity with lots of moderate to relaxed running and LT work.
