what does subpar mean? If the average return for stocks is 10% and instead we get 6% for 10 years...that's still not bad and way better than bonds will likely give back.

in that case igy will regret his call.

But if we get another 10 years with zero return, that is bad.

I don't think a PE of 18 is that high - it is barely higher than the 25 year averages. A little higher.

but igy looks at other measures that may show a higher relative valuation.
