We just realized today is Meb's 40th birthday. What an inspiraiton to still be so good at such a physically demanding event at age 40. As a result, we have made a rare mid-d Quote of the Day change on the front page giving Meb the honor from an article from Chris Chavez:http://espn.go.com/sports/endurance/story/_/id/12824279/endurance-sports-meb-keflezighi-turns-40-reflects-impressive-career
"I put so much pressure on myself to win a medal, win New York and win Boston" Keflezighi said. "Each has its significance, but now I feel like I don't want to put pressure on myself anymore. I feel delighted to be 40. It's not that I don't want to win, but if it comes that's great. If it doesn't, then I've been there and done that."
Happy Birthday Meb!
PS. We were going to praise him as the world's greatest 40+ marathoner but then realized that Kenneth Mungara just ran 2:08:43. We demand a match-race!!
