RE: Mo Farah finally going for a world record

Anyway, Komen's 7:58 as a "WR" (actually a World Best) is about 5 seconds slow as 7:20 should project to 7:53 by most conversions.

More than 2.5 seconds slower than equivalent, per mile. Like going for, um, a 3:28 1500.

So of course Mobot targets a soft record, just like he races soft competition.

Actually he's going for 8:04.35, which is the indoor mark. So like going for a 3:30-3:31 as a WR in the 1500. (Turns out 3:31 is the indoor 1500 record.)
