The rest of her season was dog shit, and it's not surprising that she only ran well at the very end of it, since the training she was doing in the spring was bound to leave her nothing but stale for weeks. Only by racing on the circuit did she actually manage to escape the workouts she was doing (assuming these were even accurately reported) that looked better suited for someone looking to run 14:50 for 5K. Maybe she'll run 3:58 or even faster next year, but not if she trains under the same moron.
Umm, You mean Joe Vigil? He's only taken her from being a descent American talent, to medaling at the World Championships. I would agree that the first half of her season was sub-par, but she's back on track and running Very well under her current coach.
