She may make more total money now and she went with the sure thing. But Bernard Lagat, Nourredine Morceli, and Galen Rupp did very well financially after NCAA competition. In addition, she's cheating herself of a great education if she decides to go to a place like Portland after coming out of Bronxville with straight A's. Stanford or Harvard seems a better fit.
