Normally, stepping on the line in two consecutive steps is clearly considered to be gaining an advantage. For the poster who said it takes three or four steps on the line, I suggest he throw away his state high school rulebook (and read the USATF championship rules) before chiming in on an USATF championship meet.

Too bad, but Gay broke the rules, just as did Berry (in the 400) and the USC guy (in the 400 Hurdles). The officials have been consistent.
