The thing is, how fast does someone have to run to get a PED accusation? Is there a cutoff? Or how much does someone have to improve? For Solomon, if he'd run only sub-1:44, would you still accuse him?
I'd really like to know. What do people consider suspicious improvement?
One of you said sub-2:06 marathon. So are all the 2:06 guys exempt? 2:07 guys? Or just anyone faster than Derek Clayton?
Listen you're dealing with a message board with far too many anonymous, aholian, inane tweaks.
The answer to your question is that any time anyone runs an excellent time...some bad faithed loser is going to throw out an accusation. There will be a troll, at least. And for all those who think they have a "reasonable" post "raising suspicion," not a single one of them will know all the work that goes into those performances, let alone ever lived 1 year of their life doing the running, the core work, the plyo's, the phys therapy, the ice baths, the diet, the sleep...etc. etc. etc.
Average message board rat, doesn't have a clue.
Especially the older guys.
