Come on Vin, think again...... wrote:
What a tragedy. I hope Vin changes hs mind. Vin is one of the most gifted T&F coaches in the world and to have him throw away that rare talent for a lackey job at USATF will make us all very sad for a long time. I hope Vin changes his mind and stays in coaching, perhaps starting his own pro team.
I have the opposite view. He may have talent as a distance coach, but he is visionary in terms of launching a program to greatness, using all its available resources and energy. I think he might be the only person with the passion and ability to elevate USATF.
However, I am concerned with how the relationship with USATF and Nike might change if Vin took the CEO job.
