Only could be a considered a disappointment in XC. On the track AJ has been a good, consistent performer. Whether he takes the next big step and runs either 13:3x or sub 3:39 remains to be seen. He's beaten a ton of guys who have done stuff like that in conference races and even at NCAA's, but just hasn't done it in a fast race.
