RE: Stretch Reflex
Re: B6...Keep in mind Dr. M is talking about sports hernia, not inguinal hernia and the rehab window is very short - I'm sure you're well past it.
I have a bilateral inguinal hernia. It has to be fixed now or later. Soccer is a big part of my life - I choose to do it now. I'm willing to take the risk now and plan to put myself in the hands of an experienced hernia surgeon.
Some on this board gave up on sports when their problems started and the problems got worse over time anyway, finally causing them to get surgery. I wouldn't want to look back 5 years from now and say I should've had surgery back then.
I don't see how anyone can read all the posts on this board and not also conclude...
"I should see a specialist and get a proper diagnosis."
Sorry if it sounds rude, but you say your pain is debilitating and you're just taking guesses at your condition.
I've read every page of this thread. There are also lots of positive stories by people who finally got 1) a diagnosis and 2) surgery.
