RE: Stretch Reflex
JC,
Hoping you're feeling better, and wishing you a speedy recovery.

Another interesting thing about the signalling system. Dr. Muschaweck recommends sports hernia sufferers to take vitamin B6 as part of a rehab alternative to surgery. I had originally thought the vitamin B6 was to prevent collagen defects. But when I looked up vitamin B6 there was nothing about collagen formation, but rather about vitamin B6 being essential for neurotransmitter production.

So it seems that maybe Dr. Muschaweck also suspects a neurotransmitter (chemical) problem implicated or causing in sports hernia.

This makes sense to me. The injuries are there, certainly. But where did the injuries come from? From defects in the muscle coordination system, an extremely complex system which runs on neurotransmitters of many types.

What affects the neurotransmitters in our bodies? Many industrial chemicals.

Parkinsons disease? Just one example of a problem with neurotransmitters.
