Thanks for your input. I believe you are right on the money on the points you make.
I definitely notice the radiating pain at different positions.
When Dr. Um checked you, did she apply pressure directly to the groin? One GP did this to me, pressing pretty hard and this did cause quite a bit of discomfort. The other GP was more thourogh, doing the turn your head and cough numerous times. Enough that it felt like I do when I haven't ridden a bike for a long time. I was sore for two days, but she could not locate an inguinal hernia.
I know what you mean about taking it easy. I have cut back on my physical exertion and the pain has been less intense.
I can't wait to hear back from you after your surgery.
