Surf............Remember Tendons and Ligaments have a hard time healing because of limited blood supply...muscles have tons of blood supply.........

Mike Va....great info On what bothers Sports Hernias...Every single one of those bothers me...good stuff

Hip Labral Tears.......My MRI also mentioned small bilateral hip labral tears.....Had an MR Arthrogram done on my most painful side and it came back as no labral tear...Hip specialist looks at same MRI and said he sees some small crackels but no full blown labral tear...but mentions I may have an Impingemnet issue....I also have mild athritis in the hips.....He mentions to Meyers adductor release may benefit me..........Meyers was concerned his surgery may make the hips hurt worse so thats why he sent me to the hip specialist...its pretty much a crap shoot....Meyers says it could also imrpove the hips.................My feeling is I never had an ounce of Hip pain Until I felt that sharp tear in my lower ab 5 years ago...about a year after that noticed increased Hip pain, back pain etc..... To me that tells me if the SH surgery can stabalize the pelvis that should take pressure off the hips and hopefully benefit me all around and maybe save me from any worsening hip problems......its amazing how an unstable pelvis can wreck havoc on the body......Btu I do relize that for me the SH surgery may just be step 1 of a 2 step process....An arthroscopic Hip procedure to remove any impingenet may be something I will need to deal with....All I can do is take it one step at a time.....Thats why the sooner the better you have surgery after your injury

Albert.......Great news on the increase in activity....jsut wait until 3 months from now your going to feel great
